Often when God speaks to me through my prayer times or through His Word, the Holy Bible, or in times of worship, I communicate with Him through drawings. Somehow as I draw what has come to my spirit, I know He is confirming what I need to know for that hour. Many times, I know it is for others encouragement.

Jesus is our Passover Lamb but He will come again as the Lion of Judah.

God, with compassion, hears the cry of a heart of faith; a persistent cry at His door. He promises to take care of us and "will bring about justice".
Read Luke 11:5-10 and Luke 18:2-8
This is a picture I believe God showed me during worship. I was reminded of 2 Kings 4:1-7. The oil, a symbol of the Holy Spirit, was poured into many empty containers. As long as there were containers the oil continued to flow. I felt as though God was saying to come to Him as an empty container so that He by His Spirt could fill up His Church. If we come to Him full of ourselves how can anything be imparted? In this story when the widow ran out of containers the oil stopped flowing.

This is a sketch I also saw during worship recently. There was a window of Heaven opened and many gifts were being poured out. There were gifts of the Spirit and some were care packages and wonderful fruits of the Spirit. I even felt as though the Lord said some are surprise packages. I knew these were blessings meant for those in the Body of Christ. However, I also knew in my spirit that these gifts would have to first be received to be activated.
God is loving and caring; always desiring to provide for our deepest needs. He wants to speak with us every day. He provided Manna daily for His people in the wilderness. "...and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil."
Do you hear Him speaking to you in this piece? If so, stop right now and express back to Him what you are feeling. Go to my "guest book" page and write out your expression. You will encourage yourself, me and perhaps others.
